LLG is the largest trade association supporting the insurance and related financial services industry. Today, they’re working with over 700 member companies around the world to help them understand industry trends, inform their strategies, develop their talent, and create solutions that advance the industry. Responsible for completing a transformation and stabilization program from a legacy financial system and processes to NetSuite, while also improving change management and controls between the finance and technology teams.

Manage a business transformation initiative with accountability to senior leadership for scope, schedules, budgets, risk/issues, and quality of all project elements. Complex and cross-functional project to transition entire credit card business along with extensive data migration from multiple sources to a new partner bank, leading matrixed business and technology work streams with resources on/offshore. Direct engagement with executive stakeholders and leadership within technology, business, marketing, training, data governance, cyber security, audit, and regulatory compliance. Manage all aspects of integration program including risk management, requirements, design/coding, testing, vendor management with SLA monitoring, UAT, vendor & API production cutovers, and multi-level status reporting.

Completed inflight portfolio of complex and cross-functional projects to migrate entire accounts payable and allocations business functions and data from Oracle-ERP to a fully integrated SAP S/4 HANA Cloud platform ($5.6MM budget). Led matrixed business and technology work streams with vendor resources on/offshore. Direct engagement with executive stakeholders and leadership within business, technology, accounts payable, allocations, procurement, tax, governance, security, and audit.

Successful strategic operational readiness and delivery initiatives with accountability to executive management for scope, schedules, budgets, risk/issues, and quality of all project elements.• Several complex and cross-functional projects, the most significant was a Commercial Trade Operational Transformation project ($11MM budget): Led heavily matrixed business and technology work streams with resources on/offshore in successfully replacing a legacy Trade Operations platform with a fully integrated SaaS platform. Direct engagement with executive stakeholders within Business, Audit/Compliance, and Technology managing all aspects of the program including scope, budget, timeline, resources, vendor management and critical gap remediation. Through efficiency adjustments and collaborative risk assessments, reduced delivery timeline and cost by 22% and 27%, respectively.

Successful delivery of multiple strategic and operational work stream initiatives with accountability to executive management for budgets, schedules, program management staff, regulatory compliance, and quality of all program elements:• Web Portals ($27MM budget): Delivered a world class interactive user experience by building four state of the art interactive Web Portals to enable successful financial and retirement outcomes for Participants, Plan Sponsors, Third Party Administrators and Agents. Conducted live UX/UI design reviews with end-users leveraging the User Experience Center at Bentley University.• Recordkeeping ($65MM budget): Delivered future state core interfaces through a configurable industry standard, while simultaneously converting a data record-keeping system for retirement services.• Investment Data & Trading ($18MM budget): Developed new trading operations and investment processes.

Corporate and International Subsidiary BASEL II ICAAP and CCAR Regulatory Compliance initiatives• Successfully delivered multiple projects in a heavily matrixed and politically sensitive environment with a strategic objective to develop a corporate and international subsidiary BASEL II ICAAP program. As a result of global collaboration and risk mitigation with executives from international subsidiaries, the program budget of ~$9M was slashed by over $1MM.• Obtained approval by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston of a Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review plan (CCAR).

• Successful program to transition 100+ applications reporting financial data across three segments to across five segments.Lead Project Manager (Consultant), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)• Led matrixed SOX compliance initiative within Information Technology. Managed documentation of deliverables in areas of IT security, operations, development, change management, and third-party SAS-70 reporting.

• Managed a matrixed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance initiative within U.S. Wealth Management. Project Manager (Consultant), Methodology & ComplianceAs a result of the John Hancock and Manulife Financial merger, the U.S. Wealth Management leadership team chartered a continuous process improvement function focused on synergizing strategic methodology and compliance initiatives.• Improved project efficiency, predictability, and product quality by ~35% through implementation of new business requirements analysis and traceability, risk and change management, scope analysis, and training of all IS staff.

The Group Long Term Care division won the bid to offer insurance benefits to the United States federal government employees and their families, requiring a stand alone hybrid mainframe and web-based system be developed.• Successful delivery of new group long term care system within timeline and budget, meeting 100% of stringent governmental requirements managing all aspects of quality testing of a mainframe and affiliated web portals and vendor systems.
