I currently am a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Microsoft and have 6 years of full-time experience in predictive uncertainty, object detection/tracking, self-supervised learning, topic modeling, multi-modal learning, LLM RAG, reward models, and anomaly detection. A few career highlights:- I earned my Master's degree from US News #1 JHU BME without an undergraduate degree in one year while working full-time in parallel. - I’ve written papers without advisory published at top conferences before receiving any degrees as an entirely self-taught paper writer.- In a year and a half, I went from knowing nothing about object tracking to tech leading an object tracking project at a small start up during a period in which it improved in placing from last to first against competing trillion dollar companies on the DoD's leading AI effort.- I was the only ML researcher staffed at a start-up on the DoD's leading AI effort during a one-year period in which the ML research deliverables brought in $15M to that company from that effort.
