Years of experience in retail fields such as Subway and Shoppers Drug Mart has given me a hard work ethic and a better understanding of how the world works: namely, the importance of doing things correctly and without any half-measures. I complete tasks with a high degree of precision, and, when required, a refreshing amount of creativity. Communications at Carleton has allowed me the opportunity to gain a great foundation of both analytical and communication skills, which are integral aspects of my dream job (intelligence analysis for a government agency).People describe me as incredibly ambitious; almost obsessive when it comes to certain goals I want to achieve in my life. This ambition won me numerous roles on student council in high school, as well landing me on the honour roll. In university I have continued to flourish academically, and I constantly impress when I am given the chance to do so due to my work ethic and intelligence. Working at the LCBO has given me a large variety of skills which I would not have had any other way. Namely, responsibility for checking IDs and making sure I don't serve anyone intoxicated.
