Worked with Rockport Rights of Way Committee to update a Rockport trail guide from 1995. Designed over 20 maps from scratch, a legend with icons, and 70 pages of text to create a clear and updated guide.

Designed graphics and created visual compositions for social media posts, newsletters, brochures, and flyers. Successfully contributed to campaign banning plastic straws, stirrers, and hot-stoppers in the city of Gloucester.

Rusty and Ingrid in a screen printing company that creates prints of landmarks around New England. They opened their own studio in Rockport, where I spent the summer screenprinting and building the frames for the prints. I also worked the register and helped fulfill daily online orders as well as package them.

North Shore Kayak OC is a store that rents and sells kayaks, Paddle boards, and bikes. At this job I helped rent these kayaks out by taking them off the water to the beach, getting the customer gear (life jacket, paddle), and helping them get into the kayak. We also did rental tours where we guided the tour groups out around the islands in Rockport. Their is also an indoor shop that sells clothes, gear, and sandals, where I would run the register and fill out customer information for rentals.

I learned quickly at Dunkin' Donuts from friendly co-workers and a great boss who showed me how to make food, drinks, and take care of the store. I began by stocking shelves and cleaning then moving on to working behind the register and closing the store. I still remember how to make everything on the menu and gained a lot of real world experience and how to handle responsibility.
