On completion of my Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) at the University of Canterbury, I worked in Sydney, Australia at Northrop Consulting Engineers for 7.5years (2008-2015). I currently work in the Land Development Business Unit at Harrison Grierson in the Newmarket office (2015-Present). I am currently a Member of The Institute of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand (MIPENZ) and a qualified Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).My current role involves both engineering and engineering management including; Principal Civil Engineer, Team Leader, Project Management and Business Development.My experience includes engineering Project Manager for delivery of a wide range of projects across various markets. This includes delivery of private land development (residential / commercial / industrial) and public infrastructure (roading / parks / streetscape) projects. I have completed projects in Auckland, New Zealand and within Australia (New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania).I am currently a Team Leader within the Newmarket Land Development Business Unit. There are twelve (12) members of my team made up of engineers, designers and draftspersons. My key management responsibilities include: staff development, career progression, staff engagement & mentoring.My role as a Client Stakeholder and Business Development includes winning new business, nurturing and developing existing clients as well as ongoing monitoring of client relationships.
