In addition, I have managed business development and acquisition projects in a range of African and Asian markets including Vietnam, Pakistan, Kenya, Angola, Sudan and Nigeria. Building effective teams in cross-cultural environments is a strength: the 31 market personal care business that I was responsible for while in India with Unilever doubled to £400m largely because of trust and business synergies built.In the UK, I have achieved a number of business turnarounds in OTC and FMCG categories working with key customers like Boots, Tesco and Asda. My sector experience is wide including FMCG (cosmetics, personal care, home care, foods, drinks, tobacco), pharmaceuticals, OTC, baby accessories, diagnostics and b2b fragrances and includes 15 years working with Unilever in many markets. In sales, I have achieved results with channels including e commerce (Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart in India) international customers like Walmart, Tesco and Carrefour, distributors in Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as pharmacies, wholesalers and small groceries.I am a post-graduate qualified Executive Coach with a thesis on delivering business success through coaching across different cultures.
