Do good things with good people!Since 2007 I have worked in and led global brands within the Apparel and FMCG industries in New Zealand and Australia. During this time I have gained a wealth of experience across marketing, product development, strategy, ecommerce, category management, sales. But…. while gaining a wealth of experience and a love for international business, my purpose for doing something “good” was growing stronger and the slowness of the corporate world willingness to change for ever frustrating… Since 2011 we (my wife and I) have owned Honeysticks and originally a side hustle in 2019 I decided to turn it into a full time gig. Honeysticks is a global brand that is doing good with good people! Perfect. We create the safest products for kids while being amazing for the planet – no plastics, re-usable packaging, sustainably sources material and all food grade or natural ingredients – AWESOME! We are slod in over 20 different markets and have key retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Nordstrom, Macy’s. Honeysticks is currently # 2 to Crayola in the USA!At Honeysticks my key responsibilities are setting and running the business strategy, global sales and marketing strategy, commercial management, and product development strategy as well as on the leadership team and a director. Alongside Honeysticks and since April 2023, I am a co-owner of guiding business, Aspiring Guides, based in Wanaka New Zealand. Aspiring Guides is focused on providing guided experiences from Hiking to Mountaineering. We are focused on creating a world renowned regenerative tourism business looking at our people, the environment, our community!At the end of the day I love growing businesses but I am a family man with 4 daughters and an amazing wife. We live in paradise (Wanaka) and love heading into the outdoors when we are not supporting our children in their sporting and cultural endeavours.Rock on
