- As Lead Counselor: Supported the Site Director and childcare team where needed. Kept Director appraised of events and changes in the flow of program and child behavior. Monitored and kept staff appraised of program procedures. Stepped in to aid in conflict resolution between children if needed and filled out appropriate relevant paperwork when required. Helped plan and carry out program schedules, meal plans and group activities. Helped lead craft, gym game and other recreational activities, including off site field trips to those activities. - As Childcare Counselor: Monitored parental sign in and sign out of children involved in ARC's before and after school childcare programs via an attendance roster sheet. Supervised and interacted with the children during scheduled recreational activities, homework and meal times. Escorted children safely to and from school at the end of morning programs and at the start of evening programs. Helped maintain clean and orderly program facilities. Performed similar or identical duties for ARC's summer camp programs. - As Preschool Lead Teacher: Lead play time, circle time and transitional activities. Worked with parents, staff and the Preschool Program Director to develop and execute a student curriculum for the group at large and each child individually, tracking childhood stages of social, emotional and cognitive development throughout the academic year.- As Subsitute Childcare Counselor: Filled in for staff at various ARC Childcare programs and program sites, when members of the regular team staff were sick or absent.
