The US government acquisition process is transforming...and the next decade of cultivating thought leaders in this area is not just essential. It's what will make or break the United States as we know it. The acquisition professionals of today must be: Thoughtful. Zealous. Nimble. Innovative. Free-thinking. Critical thinking replacing thoughtless compliance. Intimate teaming with industry replacing arms-length formality. My purpose is to contribute in small part to this enormous effort. To provide guidance and education to government professionals, industry and academia – to help us all navigate the mind-numbing world of defense contracts. The consequences of our failure to do this? Powerful new technologies in the hands of foreign adversaries will have grave impact on the future of our US Citizens and allies. The future security of our nation is not guaranteed.
