Ancient Corinth, Greece And Rieti, Italy

Helped preserve an ancient Roman mosaic in Greece by cleaning and caring for it daily in a team oriented setting. Used toothbrushes and water to clean the mosaic carefully, while repairing damage using mortar and loose tessera to fill in the holes. Classes were held in Italy learning about archaeology and architecure. While in both countries there were many day trips to locations and cities with rich architectural history, such as Rome and Athens for example.

Sewickley, Pennsylvania

During the summers I would work for the Tennis pro's at Edgeworth Club, providing an extra hand during lessons and clinics. I would arrive early in the morning by setting up the courts for lessons or for clinics, and then I would feed balls to children and adults between the ages of 4 and 70. I would clean the courts at the end of the day, and I would also string any tennis rackets for members at the club. If anyone would come into the pro shop I would also be responsible for checking them out at the cash register.
