Focussed on supporting organisations with circular economy, green skills and ESG and carbon reporting

I led the Department's policy on the European Social Fund and UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This involved leading a team of two SEOs to develop the Department's policy on skills for the ESF, UKSPF and UKCRF. I developed the Department's input to the prospectuses for the UKSPF and UKCRF, setting the policy priorities and direction for skills and local growth funding. This involved taking strategic decisions on future skills policy, engaging colleagues in Departments from across Whitehall.

I worked as Assistant Private Secretary to the Minister for Employment, leading on the Europe and International portfolio.My focus was on the European Social Fund, the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, as well as international engagement with the International Labour Organisation, the G7 and G10.
