My role with Securitas / Oracle ended after a really tremendous 8 years when it was re-located back to the US. I couldn't have wished for a better time (although there were challenges!). I am planning to take time over the summer to review the way ahead - happy to discuss further as applicable.

• On the strength of my performance at Bechtel, I was headhunted by Anadarko to manage the security and service support of around 500 Expats and 1,000 Algerians on a multi-site E&P project in the Sahara Desert, Algeria.
• Managed the development and implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Implemented an effective and auditable security management system.
• Management and implementation of incident response planning.
• Investigated possible criminal activities and compliance issues.
• Developed and maintained liaison with senior government, law enforcement and regulatory officials.

A highly professional 13 years spent as an Army Officer in The Black Watch. This involved a lot of travel, and time spent working closely with armed forces in Germany, New Zealand, Australia, France and the US (at West Point Military Academy). I also spent two years as leading the Senior Command Course at the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre.
