With many years of Building Services Consultancy experience in electrical engineering, with specific duties include client and design team liaison, project design & coordination and construction documentation, design and documentation of Electrical Services.Key Responsibilities and accountabilities include:Working on projects and being involved in all stages of the design from conception to completion.Provide high quality technical advice to colleagues and clients in relation to building Fire Detection Systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Small Power and Data.Provide electrical designs in compliance with latest guidelines, present findings and calculations achieved using computer software.Calculation, design, drawing and specification of all aspects of Electrical Building Services including Relux/Dialux lighting design software Amtech for full electrical design and calculations to BS 7671.Prepare designs, specifications and tender documentation. Ensure that designs comply with company Q.A, Health and Safety, Codes of Practice and British Standards and are energy efficient.Skilled communicator, able to liaise effectively with architects, appreciating their design aspirations, while working with them collaboratively to deliver high quality, integrated designs.Experience with dealing first hand with clients, project managers, architects, developers and contractors.Assisting the senior engineers in delivery of assigned project work. Working and liaising with associated engineering disciplines as part of delivering projects.Strong IT skills with working experience of common electrical design software packages such as AutoCad and Microsoft Office package.
