A newly created role with very high degrees of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity that leads a cross-functional team to develop a new competency for the organization -- business model innovation; the following responsibilities include:1. Charged with turning a seed investment of $800k into four businesses that can generate +$100m in revenue. 2. Defining and implementing a new business model incubation framework that complements the strategic plans of the core business. 3. Driving enterprise-wide engagement and collaboration in “Business Model Thinking” to generate new ideas and embed leading best practices. 4. Identifying companies, key partnerships, business models, and technologies of financial interest to Wrigley New Ventures for early, mid, and late stage investments to incubate radical/disruptive ideas5. Mapping investment trends and developing a pipeline of companies for partnership or acquisition6. Creating and cultivating the Wrigley New Ventures reputation, image and visibility both externally and within Mars, Inc. 7. Managing the R&D team that supports initiatives for the newly created e-commerce group.
