Aneid is a healthcare firm that markets pharmacuetical products, dietary supplements and Class I Medical devices in Portugal (Aneid Lda.), Spain (Atena ), Italy (Aneid Italia) and the United Kingdom (Aneid UK Ltd.). Aneid began to establish a diversified portfolio of healthcare related products and services over the past eighteen years. Products in Portugal include:-Modafinil (Provagil) from Cephalon for sleep disorders-SST (Sinclair Pharma) for dry mouth-Gelclair (Helsinn Pharma) from mucositis-Soya-MRL (Essential Nutrition Ltd). for menopause-Coriolus-MRL (Mycology Research Labs) for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / HPV virus responsible for LSIL cervical lesions. Aneid was the first European firm to introduce Kinesio Tape into Europe in the late 1997 and then went on to establish the neuromuscular taping brand Cure Tape (Fysiotape NL) in Southern Europe as well as exportation into Latin America. To support the sale of Cure Tape and Punch Tape, Aneid and affiliates conduct over 200 fifteen hour courses in the various applications of neuromuscular taping. Working with Essential Nutrition Ltd, Aneid was the first Portuguese firm to introduce the concept of 40 mg soya isoflavones supplementation in women with menopause in the late 1990´s. Aneid also represents Mycology Research Laboratories in Portugal, Spain and Italy. In 2008, while working with both Mycology Research Laboratories and the Institute of Oncology in Coimbra Portugal, a poster presentation demonstated that mushroom nutrition (3 g/ day) when given to LSIL HPV patients could initiate a regression in cervical lesions in 72% of the subjects while only in 47% in the control group, but more importantly, after one year the HPV virus was "undetectable" in 91% of the patients while only in 8% of the control subjects. In the past two years, Aneid has assumed the European distribution rights for Speak (distribution agreement with NourishLife LLC) for verbal apraxia.

Joined family owned Portuguese pharmaceutical firm (1991 revenue of $ 1,0 Million) and was responsible for strategic planning and licensing leading to:a) Co-founding another pharmaceutical firm, Laborterapia -Produtos Farmaceuticos Lda.b) Acquisition of Freda /Farmacore-Productos Farmaceuticos Lda.c) Co-founding of Vida-Productos Farmaceuticos Lda.d) Establising joint venture with Ferring in Portuga and sold to Ferringle) Establishing joint venture with Ipsen-Beaufourf) Founding of Salutas Pharma -joint venture with Hexal Pharma and finally sold to Bayer to form Sandoz Pharma in 2001. g) Negotiated the acquisition of 25% of the shares in Bioty owned by Pariabas Bank to give Ahern family 75% ownership. By 1995, revenue totaled $ 25.0 Million and Bioty Group was sold to three separate pharmaceutical firms: Ferring, Angellini and Merck AG.

As the Director of Licensing and Corporate Development, my responsbilites included:-Selling-off of CEPA´s total parental nutrition (TPN) business to Pharmacia.-Licensing over ten (10) pharmaceutical -Establishing an OTC divisionCEPA was sold to Schwartz Pharma in 1998 and Schwartz Pharma sold to UCB in 2006.

Co founded the mergers and acquisitions group of Mitsui´s New York office representing Mitsui´s Japanese clients in their acquisition of firms in United States and Canada. The group was responsible for completing twenty-two acquistions or investments in twenty-four months.

Geneva Business Services was focused on representing privately held firms in their negotiations to either sell or merger with other firms in the United States. Was junior analyst creating the "Company Description" and eventually moved to Deal Maker position responsible for initiaing the sales process from letter of intent to the the final sales document. Firm was sold to Chemical Bank in 1989.
