I am an enthusiastic leader in education with a personal passion for learning that I aim to model everyday to the children and adults I work with. I believe we, as educationalist, have both the hardest job in the world and the most rewarding. At school level, I have experience of working in different settings and structures and pride myself on keeping up to date with the latest teacher-based research and practices. My experience involved teaching a range of year groups and key stages, leading a wide range of subjects and fulfilling a range of leadership roles. My current role as Director of Blue Sky affords me the opportunity to work strategically across the 8 schools in our MAC and wider with schools, teachers and leaders across Coventry, Warwickshire and Birmingham. As a school improvement lead, I am heavily involved in curriculum creation, staff development and ensuring the best possible outcomes from EYFS through to Key Stage 5. My external CPD work involved creating and delivering my own training content, being an SLE, a lead partner for Bishop Challoner SCITT, a lead partner with the Coventry and Warwickshire Teaching Hub for ECT delivery, a member of the Origin Maths Hub Strategic Board and delivering a range of NPQs through different organisations.
