I am a current junior at the University of Michigan studying Biochemistry and History. I have a deep passion for innovation and research and will be pursuing a future career in research. I greatly enjoy wet lab work and have had excellent experiences working with the Alison Narayan Lab and Kürti Research Group. I am deeply grateful for the learning opportunities I have had and strive to help those who may struggle. My employment as a tutor has refined my communication skills and capabilities as a teacher while my involvement in student organizations have improved my planning and presentation skills for teaching larger groups. I am a lifelong seeker of knowledge, and I hope that I can pass on that knowledge to continually better my community.

I worked with the Kürti Research Group for 10 weeks on a project focusing on "The Preparation of N-sulfonylhydroxyl-2-oxazolidinones via Intramolecular Cyclization of Multifunctional Hydroxylamines (MFHAs)". During this project, I optimized the reaction conditions for the cyclization, improving poor yields to relatively good yields for various screened substrates.
