Channel Development Rep.
Managed 703 reseller accounts in the “Intel Product Dealer” IPD program. This program provides the opportunity for small and medium size computer resellers to enter into a continuous supplier contract with specified authorized Intel distributors. To qualify for this program the resellers must have an annual procurement requirement for a minimum of at least 10 processors per quarter. Contractually my role was to represent Intel as a middleman between the customer resellers and the authorized Intel distributers. This involved helping provide customer service to the reseller with their purchasing needs, warranty issues and all other Intel product information. In this position I acted as a customer agent for Intel Lap top computer components (i.e. Motherboards, Processors, Servers, Gig Memories, Computer Chassis, and numerous other components). I managed existing accounts and continuously researched the market to add new clients (i.e. resellers) requiring Intel products. While I was in this position I increased my buying accounts from 69% to 133%. Interface with my clients involved using my knowledge of Intel products to research and advise them of the products that would best meet their specified requirements. I provided them with price quotes, available quantity discounts, and Intel promotional opportunities for selected parts, expected delivery dates, and warranties. Every transaction with each client involved follow up interface to ensure that their requirements were met. In addition I made continuous periodic contacts with the clients to survey their current or anticipated requirements.
