Supervisor Of Desktop Engineering
CurrentSupervises the Desktop Team operation resources. Supervises all aspects of the Firm's enterprise desktop environment. Supervises the Desktop Team daily operations and priorities. Supervises the Desktop Management Systems process to ensure documentation and procedures are aligned with solutions implemented; Desktop Management Systems. Provides guidance to Applications Analyst to analyze, understand, and resolve technically complex issues through a high-level in-depth research and analysis to a high-level remediation on all incidents, and resolves technical issues. Performs technical work and provides technical assistance to the Desktop Engineering for the purpose of architecting, development, testing, deployment and maintaining a reliable and stable technology desktop infrastructure and applications. Mentors Desktop Team and emphasize continuing development. Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with the Desktop Team, IT Managers, Network Operations Manager, Project Coordinators, and Senior Managers to actively build a healthy working relationships to continually improve users’ business objectives.Contributes to the long-term effectiveness and success of the organization by participating in the development, evaluation, and execution of operating and strategic plans, training and supporting other departments in the use of technology. Knowledge of the Firm policies and procedures. Serving as a district liaison with vendors. Expert level knowledge and experience in MSI/MST. Expert level knowledge and experience in software packaging tools. Expert level knowledge and experience in SCCM version 6 and above. Expert level knowledge and experience in App-V version 4 and above. Expert level of knowledge in Microsoft Windows 7 Operating Systems and Windows 8.1. Expert level knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite version 2010 and above. Expert level knowledge and experience in WorkSite Document. Advanced level knowledge in Citrix.
