In my past roll, with SyTech Corporation, my responsibilities were to provide a responders perspective in solving communication issues as they relate to public safety. Using my skill set, developed over forty years in rolls as first responder, fire officer, incident commander, and reserve deputy sheriff I was able to add knowledge and experience to the team to improve the company's and nations solutions related to emergency communications and interoperability. Working with SyTech's incredible team of dedicated problem solvers, radio professionals, engineers and software developers we are able to help responders, communicators, and government officials solve interoperability issues. Of course, none of us would be successful without the partnerships that were developed with the stakeholders who depend on the equipment and technology. These partners know what they need to do their important jobs and with their trust and cooperation we were able to make communication better. I’m very happy we were able to develop solutions to complex communication issues. During my time at SyTech I have had the opportunity to learn and observe some of the best in the field and learn from them. That work has helped me assist in the development and completion of radio interoperability projects solving disparate radio issues for our first responders. I have assisted in numerous special projects improving communications. During my tenure at the company I have also served as a trainer and an education coordinator for the Virginia Statewide COMLINC project. I have had the honor to learn from and advise communicators, responders, policy makers, stakeholders, government officials, military and Members of The United States Congress regarding communication issues.
