What started as a fling, blossomed into a full Merchant-Ivory romance with such clients as AT&T, Georgia Lottery, REI, and Florida Department of Citrus. What will the future hold? Who knows? (Though I personally believe in the Singularity theory when we all merge telepathically with our iPads and live forever in a perpetual game of Conker’s Bad Fur Day, but time as they say, will tell.)

Swam in the liberating, azure waters of freelance with such fine shops as Fallon, BBDO Atlanta, and Huey and Partners, for clients like Charter Communications, AT&T, and Mizuno. And, truth be told, playing way too many iPhone games.

Some jobs you take to make money, others you take to grab destiny by the balls and say “you know what, punk? We’ve tried it your way for a while. Now it’s my turn, so step. Off.” Long story short, I spent eight incredible months tied to the top of the mast like Captain Dan with three of my best friends, helping them create an agency brand from the ground up. We also managed to do some nice work for brands like Finnegan’s, Abbay’s and Microlamp. In the end, it may have just been a dream. But it was a beautiful dream.

Ahhh, Atlanta. If you ever get the chance to check it out, take it. But if one of the locals ever points a BB gun at you—remember, it’s not a BB gun. Anyhow, besides the work I was able to do here for Southwest Toyota Dealers and Florida’s Natural, my proudest accomplishments were the friends I made. I was fortunate enough to work under the gentle tutelage of such fine folks as Bobby Pearce and Dave Damman (see above) and Susan Treacy. They’ve all left indelible impressions on me, as evidenced by the fresh scars on my liver.

Spent the first year writing car brochures in the design department. They liked my work enough to invite me over to the general creative side where I spent two years working on Coors Light, Mitsubishi, DirecTV, California Milk Processing Board, Old Navy, and Web.com. I even got to meet Donny once.
