Business Operations Manager
Current•Advanced to drive continuous improvement projects at organizational level in response to various retail business needs. Report directly to Director of Operations. Projects impact business segments such as ecommerce support, marketing, acquisition, training & development, and employee engagement and retention.•Lead up to four projects directly with general participation in up to eight additional projects concurrently. Manage frequently changing project timelines, rapidly adjusting processes to accommodate changes.•Maintain close, collaborative relationships with key cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, HR, Finance, and E-Commerce, to secure necessary stakeholder buy-in for propelling projects forward.•Serve as trusted, authoritative figure and advisor to divisional heads and retail branch managers, leveraging status as corporate office liaison to facilitate transparent communication during change management activities.•Interface regularly with C-suite leaders, acting as subject matter expert (SME) for individual retail store operations. Participate in long-term strategic planning conversations, utilizing market research and analysis to determine potential business expansion opportunities.Select Achievements•Spearheaded total revamp of business operations and floor plan for five warehouse locations across ND, MN, and IA. Implemented standardized processes across receiving, billing, storage, and shipping business segments, coordinating with cross-functional teams to train all staff on newly implemented procedures. •Developed and presented key in-person training programs, including Manager Development, Outside Sales Development, and Business Essentials, to 50 total personnel.
