AboutI knew I wanted to fly since I was seven years old. I attended Indiana State University after graduating High School in 1989. My Junior year of college I joined the Indiana Air National Guard (181st Tactical Fighter Wing Terre Haute, IN). I had always had a strong sense of service to my country and I saw the ANG as a great opportunity for me to accomplish that. My time in the Guard as a Security Specialist (Military Police) was very rewarding. It provided me the opportunity to become self-disciplined, a team player and a strong leader. After graduating ISU with a B.S. degree in Professional Pilot Technology I worked for FedEX on the ramp at Indianapolis Airport offloading and loading aircraft. Two years past and I was hired as a Flight Instructor at Eagle Creek Aviation and was on my way to becoming a Professional Pilot. Two years later I was hired by Continental Express, later to become ExpressJet Airlines. I flew for ExpressJet for 22 years. While at ExpressJet I earned four different type ratings and gained a lot of experience flying both Turbo Props as well as Jets all over the US, Canada and Mexico. Covid19 caused ExpressJet to permanently close its doors on Sept 30, 2020. I enjoy the outdoors. I am a runner and enjoy hiking and biking as well. I like to hunt, fish and camp as much as I can. I also like to ride four wheelers (ATVs) and often trailer them to offroad parks around the country.
