Helps companies identify, capture, and/or manage large commercial and government projects around the world. Has managed or otherwise participated on more than 200 business development, marketing, procurement support, technical writing, strategic review (including pink/red teams), advertising, speechwriting, oral presentation, and technical and management projects for small-to-large U.S., U.K., and Canadian firms. Has supported clients from several industries on major proposal efforts (about 150 proposals to date that have exceeded $25M in contract value; of these, more than 40 have exceeded $1B in value), primarily to Federal departments and agencies, including the Department of the Treasury, Department of State, DoD, DOE, DHS, DOJ, NASA, GSA, and the Intelligence Community. Has managed, written, or reviewed major sections of technical and management volumes for information technology (IT), science and technology, laboratory R&D, energy, environmental remediation, nuclear operations and waste management, protective services and security, worldwide military logistics, operations and maintenance (O&M), and various technical/administrative services proposals.

Served as a White House aide for 7 years during the Reagan and Bush (the elder) administrations, drafting personal and official correspondence and messages (including Presidential proclamations and public service announcements) for both presidents and for Chief of Staff Howard H. Baker. Was appointed White House Associate Director of Cabinet Affairs by President Bush in 1991—performing liaison duties and providing policy development support for the Departments of State, Transportation, and Veterans Affairs, and for GSA, NASA, OPM, and USIA.
