• Plan, coordinate, execute and manage all facets of video production to promote College of Science personnel, programs, research, accomplishments and events across all departments and affiliated units for external and internal uses. • Develop concepts, write scripts and shoot and edit all video footage using industry standard equipment and software. • Work with communications team to ensure consistency in communications messaging and goals across written and visual mediums. • Purchase and maintain cameras, microphones, lights and other equipment deemed necessary in telling the college’s visual story. Train and/or assist other college personnel as appropriate.• Research and write news releases to support and promote College of Science priorities, programs and achievements. • Write articles and general copy for a variety of internal and external print and electronic publications, including magazines, brochures, website, posters and presentations.• Assist in all aspects of media relations, including news dissemination and general media and/or information requests.• Collaborate with communications team to plan, develop and implement projects and deliverables that promote and enhance the College’s overall image and reputation.• Foster and maintain relationships with other communications personnel within Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M System as well as with other colleges of science nationwide as appropriate.
