I’m a former lawyer, having trained, qualified, and practiced at Dentons in London. Back in 2018 I founded Capacity, an algorithmic work allocation solution designed for law firms.My core motivation is to help firms rise to the industry-wide challenges I became aware of as a junior lawyer. With my team’s experience in the legal sector, and insights from neuroscientific research, we’ve built Capacity to cater specifically to law firms and to address their broad cultural and strategic concerns.I firmly believe that law firms thrive when they put people first – attracting and retaining the best talent and the most valuable clients; developing a diverse and inclusive culture; building teams of motivated and energetic lawyers; and pushing up productivity and profits as a result. The optimisation of work allocation is, in my view, the most important process to achieve the people-centric profitability that will help firms face the future with confidence.Outside of my role at Capacity, I’m a keen gardener and DJ, and I maintain a deep interest in psychology and philosophy.
