An award-winning instructor, journalist and author, I am about change, diversity and inclusion in media professions and thoughtful, accurate journalism that represents our multicultural society. I serve on the executive committee and on the board of directors of the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education, the nation's oldest organization dedicated to diversity and inclusion in news organizations and the journalism they produce.
