PG&E's Generation Interconnection Services (GIS) Supervising Project Manager.- Supervise a team of 9 Project Managers that oversee 500+ generator interconnection projects, 1 Administrative Assistant, and 4 Contract Consultants. - Responsible for all California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approved Rule 21 retail interconnections, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved California Independent System Operator's (CAISO) Tariff wholesale interconnections, and FERC approved PG&E's Wholesale Distribution Tariff (WDT) wholesale interconnections.- Champion and ensure supportive tools, effective processes, appropriate policies, and adequate resources are in place to ensure the successful interconnection of generators to PG&E's electric grid.- Provide training and informative tools/documents that assist customers and internal partners in interpreting various tariffs and understanding the interconnection process.- Represent utility perspective in forums involving the CPUC, Department of Energy (DOE), California Energy Commission (CEC), CAISO, Southern California Edison (SCE), Sempra, San Diego Gas and Electric, Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD), and various advocacy groups.
