I am responsible for advising firm management, attorneys, and professional staff on all legal matters affecting the firm, including governance and policy, strategy, ethics and professional responsibility, and loss prevention.

* Advised executive management of a publicly-traded, global asset manager/custodian on legal and regulatory risks affecting all areas of the organization. Partnered with business leaders and corporate function heads to identify and manage legal obligations and risks associated with business strategies, operations, investors, regulators, controversies, and corporate governance. * Built respected litigation team responsible for directing the defense, trial, and disposition of legal and regulatory proceedings both in and outside the US, including shareholder and customer class actions, contract, intellectual property, ERISA, fiduciary, employment, consumer protection, whistleblower, anti-corruption, bankruptcy, and criminal matters.* Directed internal investigations program to assess and respond to reports of misconduct, including whistleblower complaints.* Established in-house legal pro bono program.
