Originally from Richmond Michigan, William Harrison has been a member of the Fire Service since 1997. His knowledge as a fire service leader have been distilled from more than twenty-five years of experience as an Emergency Responder and Incident Commander working for ten diverse military Fire & Emergency Services departments across the world.Each of these departments had their own unique challenges, yet each have been committed to minimizing the economic, psychological, and existential costs associated with disasters. As he progressed to his most recent position as an Assistant Fire Chief for the Department of the Air Force, Wyoming, he has endeavored to establish a high degree of integrity and loyalty, while never forgetting the enormous trust placed in our profession, one that frequently bears witness to what may be the worst day in a person's life.
