Over the course of a summer, I worked 20-30 hours per week as a part time voluntary worker. I contributed to the on going hospital projects of upgrading and maintaining the existing hospital machinery and the hundreds of IV pump devices. In doing so, I improved the efficiency and enhanced the productivity of hospital machinery and IV pump devices so that they can treat patients more effectively. I also worked on an individual project, which involved contacting medical device suppliers and distributors to confirm invoice data, and would report back to my supervisor the information attained in order to address outstanding financial obligations.
