My areas of interest in practice are public interest, government, and nonprofit work, with a particular focus on administrative law regarding education, medicine, and the justice system. I am also interested in administrative law and trial work regarding federal and state housing law, environmental law in agriculture, tax law, and labor law compliance--including personal injury and disability benefits. My recent experience includes civil service as a law clerk for the Iowa Judicial Branch, consisting of proactive research and document drafting for district court judges across the State of Iowa.I have previously assisted in the formation of advocacy groups for police oversight and voting rights, drafting model bills for both the Iowa General Assembly and the United States Congress, shadowing county prosecutors and public defenders, and overseeing county-level historical preservation projects.I received my Juris Doctor from The University of Iowa College of Law in 2023. I am currently pending admission to the Minnesota State Bar Association.
