Managed the Research department within Tate’s Development team to deliver a comprehensive review and implementation of a coherent prospect research plan to support long-term multi-million pound funding from numerous streams including corporate partnerships and HNWIs. Continually reviewed the research provision to ensure alignment with the Development team’s strategy.• Managed research requests from across departments and sites, agreeing priority and deadlines with the wider team according to current strategy while managing expectations.• Continually tracked and ensured the Development team were kept informed of relevant occurrences with top prospects, the arts and non-profit sectors, and geopolitical events that could influence the department’s planning and/or ability to meet fundraising targets.• Produced and reviewed event briefings and research profiles (both individual and corporate) to agreed standards adhering to due diligence processes in line with Tate’s Donation Policy. Responsible for reviewing possible conflicts and advising an Associate Director concerning contextual background and likely public perception.• Effectively line managed the research team to achieve a varied work load while adapting to urgent requests in a dynamic environment. • Organised work load around quarterly Trustee ethics meetings; produced and reviewed ethics papers (including ad hoc as required) to continually assess potential reputational risks to the organisation.• Responsible for planning and conducting research and prospect management training for new starters as part of their induction. Provided ad hoc training support when required and liaised with senior team to identify and fill skills gaps across the organisation.• Responsible for ensuring prospect and donor data, and research actions, were recorded accurately within the CRM database Raiser’s Edge.
