Reported to Manufacturing Improvement Supervisor as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. I was assigned to lead the project design team for outfitting the company’s new facility in Arizona. I quickly became acclimated with Six Sigma disciplines and used this knowledge in improving productivity with the base project as well as several other locations. The Lean manufacturing practices helped me in leading the development of the most efficient designs for this critical project. • Lead the project team which consisted of 25 company employees and 4 interns.• Utilized CAD applications in designing the full layout of the new 73,000 square foot facility. Issued purchase orders for the critical equipment build out portions on the facility. • Proposed the implementation of a new tracking software to minimize lost parts through assembly processing, eliminating costly losses.
