Student Sales Executive
Champions Life Academy is an undergraduate sales training internship using door-to-door fundraising as a platform to learn face-to-face sales skills. Students undertake a 4-day intensive training program followed by daily 1-2-1 training and in-field sessions from the management team. During the 11 week program, my roles, responsibilities and achievements included:• Gaining a place on the program through a rigorous selection process such as interviews and psychometric testing.• Averaging around 48 hours per week of in field sales time, regularly exceeding 55 hours a week when including training time.• 1 Planned day off every two weeks for the whole program, including working weekends.• Entirely sales performance driven and rewarded highly when targets were met and exceeded.• Heavy focus on personal sales statistics analysis, and skill development towards hitting targets and goals set by both me and the company.• Won various accolades including a place on the reserve list for the company holiday to Tenerife, individual 2nd Wind (highest improvement over the last 4 weeks compared to the first 6), was a member of the Top Region and attained a Distinction in the National Sales Qualification set by the company.• Won a recognition prize for consistently high sales – “The Bronze Award”.• In 13 weeks, raised a projected figure of £33,000 for charity.• Beat average regional performance by 135%.• Selected to be an Ambassador for the company on campus, only 30 people out of 100 students achieved this status.
