As the Compounding Manager I understand all the elements affecting the business within the department including all elements surrounding batch manufacture, daily production goals, new equipment and process design and proper work allocation. My position focuses on ensuring product quality is always perfect and process optimized. General Responsibilities:- Oversee all manufacturing processes- Monitor batch quality- Monitor departmental adherence to formulation and procedural instructions as set forth in batch folder documentation- Compounder manufacturing training- Maintain GMP conditions at all times- Maintain a high degree of GMP sanitation of department- Monitor and advise upon Plant Production systems including ancillary systems- Maintain Steam Boiler, Process Water Chiller and Deionized Water System- Monitor maintenance and utilization of all production and processing equipment and ancillary systems, Mixing Vessels, Mills and Pumps- Develop, design and optimize, batch manufacturing procedures to support company quality, efficacy and efficiency goals- Assess and specify Capital Expenditures as necessary to support efficiency and company goals- Maintain safe working conditions within the department and facility as a whole- Liaison between various internal departments, promoting open communication and synergy- Hiring of subordinate staff- Ensure all subordinates are always utilizing company time and resources productively

Supervised staffs of colleagues, who manufacture pharmaceutical products, operating, troubleshoot equipments and stage components. Coordinate production planning with warehouse departments to ensure scheduled and unscheduled material flow meets departments and plants goals. Document review of all Batch related paperwork (Batch Record Folders, requisitions etc.). Order and maintain needed operational supplies for Compounding Department (machine parts, labels etc.). Review and maintain department employee batch and indirect labor scanning. Monitor actual vs. standard batch labor cost. Monitor and manage department compliance with cGMP’s and Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain department adherence to machinery and systems preventive maintenance schedules. I am responsible for documenting, training colleagues in safety, sop, and inspiring a team to meet goals. Coordinate with manager, maintenance department and/or outside vendors for the repair, upkeep or replacement of department equipment and facility. Supervises and maintains orderly staging of: materials to be compounded and materials for inter-plant shipment.
