I supervised and instructed members of my unit in Rifle, pistol, shotgun and belt fed weapons during annual and monthly training evolutions.In 1993, I was attached to Security Force Company Norfolk. My duties during this time were as Corporal of the Guard responsible for a 15 man security force charged with protection of Sinclant Headquarters. I ensured that all posts were manned and performed hourly checks. I also was responsible for the coordination and dispatching of the Quick Reaction Force in the event of a security breach. I instructed and supervised members of my unit during monthly and annual firearms training.In 1994 I was attached to Headquarters 1st Marine Division G-3. I held the position of Non Commissioned Officer In Charge, responsible for maintaining gear and equipment for a 1st Marine Division Tactical Operations Center and Forward Operations Center. I was responsible for the accountability, transportation and set up of all equipment used for 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Forward Tactical Operations Center.
