About William Edgar M.S.

I have always had a passion for using my skills to help others reach their full potential. This is one of the main reason I used to be a classroom teacher. As time went on, and my crave for new challenges grew, I became the Director of Education for a behavioral health hospital. We are team of skilled professionals that work together to help individuals that may not have the skill set to succeed through conventional strategies, reach amazing goals and lead productive lives. My greatest strength is the ability to assess and quickly see different skills and talents that people posses. There are few things in the world that bring me more satisfaction than helping individuals discover and develop these skills, and witnessing them grow in confidence, and create a wonderful future for themselves.

I was the lead teacher of the "Transition to Independence" program at Seneca High School. This program was devoted to teaching students with severe disabilities life skills that could assist them lead independent lives. During my time at Seneca High School I was also the lead supervisor over the student government. I oversaw many different community and fund raising projects that high school was involved. I was also the liaison for Project UNIFY through Special Olympics for the Oconee County School district. Through this program I oversaw different athletic events that combined the general education and special education populations. I was also the coach of the Wrestling team and assistant coach of the track and filed time during my time at Seneca High School.
