In my current role I have been responsible for the planning, implementation, testing and maintenance of the bilingual CONNECT platform. The CONNECT platform enables students seeking support to be ‘connected’ to a mental health first aider based on their needs. Following extensive meetings with the stakeholders in the project to determine the platforms needs and specification the platform was created using the Laravell framework. A combination of HTML, CSS (bootstrap), JavaScript and MySQL was used to successfully implement the platform which is now being used in a selection Universities across Wales.

During my time at Moleculomics, I was involved in a number of high-profile projects for clients such as the Ministry of Defence, Unilever PLC and the Medical Research Council. I played a key role in the development of the company product; Human3DProteome (https://human3dproteome.com/) which involved; generating and maintaining ‘big data’ for the platform, designing and developing a web-based interface, liaising with clients around the globe and creating 3D models of protein structures. Approaches such as Decision tree, Bayesian network and Support Vector Machine techniques were employed alongside machine learning to assist in the understanding of complex molecular data. I also worked effectively as a member of a project team with key responsibilities for project delivery including the 3Dmolecular venture technologies (https://3dmolecular.com/ ) and the Hit to Lead portal (https://h2lportal.com/).
