Provides leadership and guidance to supervisors and operational level employees to accomplish operational plans and results across the Virginia market which includes Hampton Roads, Roanoke, and Northern Virginia.-Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assign work to direct reports to meet service and budget targets- Develop, review, and maintain department budgets to ensure cost effective operations and funding for anticipated growth needs resulting from capacity studies.-Oversee the 30+ technical facilities and towers for the Virginia market ensuring all technical standards are met for network integrity and survivability-Ensures RF levels are within corporate specifications and network availability is greater than 99.99%-Work with boundary partners to ensure understanding of large projects and to minimize impact of projects and network troubles to internal and external customers.-Provide guidance for the development, growth and progression of leaders and employees within the Cox Virginia MTC team and outside of the team-Reduced customer impacting outage minutes by more than 50% YOY from 2011 through 6/2014-Oversee maintenance, installations and upgrades for nearly 30 technical facilities across the state of Virginia.

-Manage operations & customer care employees for the Hampton Roads & Richmond markets-Oversee the construction of the fiber backbone infrastructure-Maintain and ensure network integrity and survivability-Meet with building managers & owners to coordinate building entry-Prepare detail weekly reports for upper management-Assist and direct the preparation of project timelines-Prepare and track budgets-Ensure that proper network documentation is created and maintained-Assist sales with large customers by providing engineering options and cost-Act as he 3rd tier escalation point in trouble resolution-Managed the migration of the voice circuits from the Richmond switches to the Norfolk regional switch.-Managed the migration of the Norfolk offnet resale circuits to on-net and type II circuits-Active participant on the National central office certification team-Oversaw the construction of 3 central offices and 200+ customer and carrier POPs from scratch to completion
