👉In my role at Assala Gabon, I successfully implemented the company's local content policy and strategy, in line with local legislation and company standards. Under the guidance of the Managing Director, I established performance indicators for the development of local content, which led to a 9% increase in the local recruitment rate and an 11% increase in the number of indigenous companies working with Assala. I also designed and rolled out a work experience programme benefiting young people from local communities, leading to the creation of 30 trainee positions. In parallel, I developed policies, procedures and communication tools to optimise the application of local content, managed an audit of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and set up a database of jobseekers to facilitate local recruitment.

Gamba, Gabon

👉As a key link between Assala Gabon, local authorities, communities and contractors, I effectively managed crucial interactions. I steered the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy in the Gamba region, positively impacting 9000 inhabitants and redirecting 25% of CSR funds to more sustainable projects. In addition, I played a key role in mediating conflicts between Assala and local communities, including during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, I oversaw interactions with local administrations for oil operations, ensuring the sale of 2.7 million barrels of oil per month.

Libreville Gabon

👉As Assala's brand promoter in Gabon, I oversaw branding at all of Assala Gabon's operating sites. This responsibility extended to the development and implementation of internal and external communication tools, including videos, an intranet and an exchange platform, to facilitate the company's cultural transition. I also maintained an active presence on social networks to optimise our communications. All these responsibilities were fulfilled while managing a communications budget of €200K.

👉As Shell's Reputation and Brand Image Manager in Gabon, I actively promoted the company's social investments and sustainable development policies. I designed and implemented an internal communication methodology and protocol for crisis management. In addition, I organised conferences on topical issues, inviting high-level speakers to discuss innovation and economic development. These responsibilities were carried out while managing an annual communications budget of €152K.

👉 As the person responsible for implementing the internal and external communications strategy for 'Shell Global Retail', I helped to increase brand awareness while creating synergies with major international retail brands. I also designed a global intranet aligned with the Shell Group's new way of working to facilitate the sale of petroleum products on a global scale. In addition, I optimised the use of 'Sharepoint', a collaborative working platform, to effectively meet the needs of the different activities of 'Shell Global Retail'.

Developing and implementing a strategy to improve Shell's reputation in Nigeria and strengthening relationships and refining mediation techniques with Shell's local communities in Nigeria.

👉Developing communication strategies to influence key players in the oil industry in Gabon. Reporting to the Director of Communications Shell Gabon. I established a significant partnership for a road safety campaign with the Gabonese Ministry of Transport, led the development of strategic communication tools and organised targeted recruitment campaigns. In addition, I orchestrated awareness-raising events for employees, managing an annual communications budget of €75,000.

👉 In charge of commercial management for aviation oil pools, handling a client portfolio representing 60% of the national market, as well as commercial negotiation in terms of volumes and margins. I also implemented a follow-up system to improve debt recovery.
