While growing up, Steve Irwin was an inspiration of mine. He taught me to respect animals and our environment rather than simply fear and use them. Since then, our natural world has always been a part of my life. My interests grew into a strong passion for the environment & sustainability, which led me to the O'Neill School and its mission of leading for the greater good. My college career has enhanced my goals in focusing on managing the environment through proper policy and conservation tactics and sparked my interest in leading a nonprofit in the environmental or animal rescue industry.
