Served as a summer intern for the Transportation Engineering roadway department in downtown Austin, Texas.

● Supported the infrastructure element of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s missions for stockpilestewardship and the goal to reach 30 PITs per year by 2026.○ This included oversight of design plans to replace old equipment and gloveboxes with newpit-manufacturing equipment to meet the planned increases in workloads.● Assisted in the management of a design review by coordinating comment resolution.● Created summary sheets and quad-chart metric templates among other things to improve the processes forproject engineers and managers.● Observed the ways in which LANL conducts business as it pertains to design management.

● Assisted in creating a standardized design approach which offers storage solutions for the Weapons mission.○ An emphasis was placed on a streamlined approach for faster delivery of shelf-ready warehouses.● Supported the Weapons Engineering division Program Office responsible for the management of facility andinfrastructure improvements.○ This included oversight of the capital project portfolio, campus planning, and management ofprogrammatic and indirect funded expense projects.● Observed the ways in which LANL conducts business as it pertains to construction management.
