In this role I have taken on many instructional and supportive roles. I have worked regularly on the reference desk, hosted workshops for 3D design and GIS, and held consultations with students to discuss semester-long projects. I have been given the chance to offer instruction to STEM and humanities classes, where I have been able to embrace an inter-disciplinary and engaging pedagogy. Most recently I have worked closely with the IDEA lab in the Grainger Engineering Library to learn how different digital technologies are being implemented in instructional, educational and recreational means in the academic library environment.

This was a split position between the University's library makerspace and the library's education center. I managed a makerspace, the Center for Student Innovation, and oversaw the student and graduate assistants working here most evenings. We offereed loanable technology, podcasting, 3D printing services and more. I also worked front desk for the Ballenger Education Library. Here I helped maintain the department's web presence and edited library guides.
