In 2005 Mr. Grady purchased a 258 acre property operated as a cattle Ranch for the past 100 years. Since 2007 , Mr Grady has actively managed the ranch, executing a conservation plan involving improvements of the agricultural, recreational and natural resources of the property, including a stream restoration project, design and construction of a Cabin and barn, creating a trout pond and instituting an annual stocking program, creating seasonal wetlands, planting food plots and a shelterbelt, planting and harvesting hops, creating three miles of internal ranch roads, incorporating a weed control and rotational grazing plan, and managing a stocking plan for a licensed private game bird preserve.

Managed a portfolio of Structured Finance investments and was actively involved, as an investor, in the developing CDS market for Structured Finance transactions, both in single-names and .the ABX Index.

Co-founded Gryfon Partners to originate and invest in Structured Finance Special Opportunity Investments with hedge fund partners

From 1991 to 2002 Mr. Grady worked in the Structured Finance area of Salomon Brothers, Inc where he eventually co headed the European, US and Global ABS business before co founding the Principal Finance group which invested in distressed assets with firm capital.

After joining the UBS ABS Group in 1989, Mr. Grady was named head of the group in 1990.

Mr. Grady joined Goldman, Sachs & Co in 1985 in the Mortgage Finance Department and focused on M&A and Corporate Finance transactions for Financial Institutions. During this period he was involved in some of the initial, groundbreaking deals in the Asset Backed Securitization market, including the first public Credit Card ABS deal in 1987.
