I possess extensive experience overseeing and managing healthcare waste management systems; Regulated Medical Wastes including Infectious, Pharmaceutical & Hazardous waste streams and Recycling and Solid Waste. Some of my key accomplishments include: - Established a total waste management program that improved departmental productivity and trimmed annual operating costs by $750K through the implementation of segregated Pharmaceutical Waste Program and expanded recycling efforts at Aurora Healthcare in 2016/17. - Successfully lead Aurora Healthcare through 9 separate WDNR and 1 USEPA Hazardous Waste inspections from 2017-2019 at our Hospital locations; No NOV's were found at any of our locations - Reduced Hazardous Waste generation at ALL Hospital and Clinic locations by 60-65% and changed 10 Hospitals from Large Quantity Generator sites to Small Quantity Generator status. - Completed 85+ WDNR Annual Infectious Waste reports every year for all of our Wisconsin hospital/clinic locations that generated 50+ lbs of infectious waste monthly. - Completed 14 WDNR Annual Hazardous Waste Reports every year for each of our Hospital sites. - Developed training module to meet the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) requirements. - Developed a comprehensive online waste training module for Aurora Healthcare EVS and Clinical Team Members to meet the Hazardous Waste training requirement for the USEPA. - Implemented recycling processes at all clinic and hospital locations to reduce solid waste by 25% and increase Recycling by 30-35%.
