International by design, national by delivery, 280 (NATO) Signal Squadron is a unique, operationally focused unit that is dedicated to the provision of NATO communication systems and operates under a non-UK chain of command. In NATO's 75th anniversary year, this specialist Squadron remains poised to support NATO's High Readiness contingency operations wherever and whenever they may be required. It puts the Royal Signals right at the heart of NATO!

Working as one of the lead DCO Staff Officers within the UK's Operational Headquarters, responsible for protecting and defending UK Mission Networks deployed globally.

Tasked to deliver trade specific Phase 2 training to both junior Officers and senior Non-Commissioned Officers from the Royal Signals. Using my previous knowledge, skills and experience to create the right behaviours in the Corps' future leaders. In preparation for their demanding and high tempo operational roles in the field Army.

This is a unique unit which contains 56 personnel - mostly senior soldiers. It requires strong, clear and dynamic leadership to deliver the necessary operational outputs in this international and politically sensitive appointment. Responsibilities include but not limited to:• Assessing risk - particularly 'risk to life' activities both in training and operational war zones• International engagement with numerous multi-national organisations and agencies, representing UK interests

This is a challenging appointment which requires total professionalism, attention to detail and immense dedication as the second in command of the UK's extremely high readiness deployable communication assets and communication teams at 30 Signal Regiment. Deputy Director with the responsibility for managing the operational effectiveness of 112 Officers and Soldiers. The range of responsibilities are as follows:• Act as the lead on financial and operational risk assessments, analysis, and implementation of appropriate counter-measures, resulting in reduced cost and increased efficiency of operative processes.• Responsible for career planning and management, analysis, and evaluation, assuring high quality training and professional development across vast ranges of rank, trades, and experience.• Senior deputy and go-to person within this area of the organisation, across all levels of management. Implicitly trusted to regularly stand in for the Director, making and influencing long-term decisions on training, planning and delivery, recruiting, policy, and human resource management at executive level.

Armoured Vehicle Team Leader with responsibility for a 58 member team with trades and skill sets ranging from communication engineers to communication operators with an 8 strong Armoured Bulldog Vehicle fleet. Trusted and tasked to deliver the UK's lead armoured 1* communications headquarters at high readiness anywhere in the world.

Provided business administrative support and assistance to front line public prosecutors, all the way up to Director level.
