I assist network specialist with installing network switches and other tasks as needed. I install and preformed maintenance on security cameras, pull networking cable for new network drops and repair bad network drops. I install WiFi access points. I trouble shoot and resolve phone and other network connectivity issues. I reorganize networking cabinets to make room for future expansions as well as patch in new and existing network cables to network switches. I tone and track existing network cable to trouble shoot any connectivity issues with existing network drops. I operate power tools, terminating tools, toner, cable running tools, and climb ladders as part of my job daily.

I troubleshoot computers, tablets, active boards, and other technology and apply solutions to maintain them. I keep inventory on devices. I use Microsoft products on a daily basis. I offer end user support for over 800 devices. I reimage devices. I work closely with teachers and students to asses problems and relay information to ensure the issue gets fixed. I train new employees on the pos system and on the event reporter software. I do basic troubleshooting when needed to keep the program up and running.
