• Assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Corporate Strategic Safety Plan• Assists with the coordination of the Corporate Safety Training and Compliance Program, including organizing mandatory safety meetings and determining appropriate content specific to each department, including OSHA and DOT compliance• Investigate all incidents and accidents involving company vehicles to determine root cause and extent of liability for damages to customer or third party property• Assist with the maintenance of driver safety records and compliance procedures• Coordinate repairs to damages caused by company vehicles• Investigate all employee injuries to determine root cause and incident specific training• Provide consultation on workers’ compensation claims, loss prevention and safety program management with satellite locations in Austin, Georgetown, San Antonio, Sealy, Yoakum, Victoria and Weimar• Conduct monthly safety meetings in the satellite locations and Austin office• Conduct site inspections at the satellite locations for compliance with the OSHA General Industry Standard• Provide information for monthly updates to the electronic safety bulletin

• Assist with the rollout of a Fall Prevention Program using Shoes for Crews as the preferred vendor• Initiate van transportation /resident securement training in Texas, Kansas and Missouri using Q’Straint/Sure-Lok manufacturer guidelines/recommendations for proper securement• Provide Lift & Transfer training for Texas, Kansas and Missouri• Monitor and provide instruction on timely reporting of incidents by employees and timely reporting of claims to TPA • Provide support and guidance on establishing and maintaining productive and effective safety committees at each center• Conduct annual Risk Assessments for Texas, Kansas and Missouri• Maintain compliance of applicable OSHA regulations within each center• Respond to each center after notification of first report of injury/incident to reduce employee injuries by performing investigations, root cause analysis and providing incident specific training

• Conduct the rollout training of the Safety and Occupational Injury Program for all facilities in Texas by utilizing and coordinating with the IT, HR, Finance and Facility Management departments and third party administrators resulting in an average reduction of 20 % in incurred claims cost for the for past five years• Provide consultation on occupational injury claims, loss prevention and safety program management• Conduct annual safety audits for aforementioned states and other states as needed• Attend mediations with third party representation and negotiate claim settlements• Maintain compliance of applicable OSHA regulations within each facility• Maintain continuing education hours as required for OSHA general industry outreach trainers• Assist with the rollout of the Lift & Transfer Program for all facilities in the North and Central Texas regions by coordinating with the third party vendor and SavaSeniorCare Administrative Services, LLC Legal department• Provide Lift & Transfer training for Texas, Alabama and Mississippi and other states as needed• Provide Van transportation/resident securement training for Texas, Alabama and Mississippi and other states as needed
