Actively serving in the US Navy Submarine force for the last 9 years as the Leading Petty Officer for Torpedo Division. My duties include taking charge of 4 junior personnel ensuring all maintenance and testing to weapons delivery system, hydraulically operated equipment, seawater systems, high pressure and low pressure air systems. As well as conducting training and maintenance on 9mm, 12ga, M4, M16, and MK48 small arms weaponry. I have been deployed 7 times over my 9 year career, deploying to the south China seas and protecting our nation day and night. I have been trained and qualified to conduct maintenance on Controlled material as well as inspecting these specific items and Submarine systems for proper maintenance practices. I am a qualified Quality Assurance inspector and have experience with engineering drawings, non destructive test drawings, testing documentation, and formal work package development. Submarines is a cohesive unit relying on sailors working together to complete the mission set forth.
